This is a permanent opportunity based in Eastbourne. Benefits: Pension with an employer contribution up to 8 Annual bonus Flexible working Health Cash plan, worth up to GBP860 per year Subsidized canteen Valued recognition programme, earning gifts, vouchers, and long service awards 33 days holiday per year (inclusive of bank holidays) Wellbeing programme Running club Fitness app, with stream: able classes Free fruit Job Responsibilities: To support the existing products within the cells Provide manufacturing engineering support to the manufacturing operational team where needed Drive continuous improvement activities in quality, cycle times, cost reduction and process improvement through lean techniques and value engineering to enhance the capability of existing processes and waste prevention and removal Creation and maintenance of SOPs, technical specifications for manufacturing equipment Active training process, procedures, documentation and traceability to create and sustain the workforce competencies within the allocated manufacturing cells Implement and maintain suitable metrics to demonstrate the effectiveness of the Manufacturing process in the allocated cells To design, prove, implement and maintain Cell manufacturing system layout Work with other departments and suppliers to support all.
