Playground is rapidly expanding and is currently seeking a hard-working and reliable team to join our dynamic Finance & Accounting team. Who you are: We are looking for a Junior Bookkeeper. To succeed in this role you must be a team player and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment. Salary: $48,000 to $52,000 The Ideal Candidate: We are looking for an experienced and detail oriented bookkeeper to help manage our accounting needs and to join our fast paced, growing and expanding team. The successful candidate must be experienced in all bookkeeping tasks, have a solid understanding of accounting principles and financial statement preparation, be disciplined, and knowledgeable in accounting systems. Key Competencies: Accuracy and attention to detail. Demonstrated understanding of debits and credits. Solid analytical skills. Excellent organizational skills. Motivated and with the highest level of professional integrity. Capacity to work autonomously. Quick learner and adaptable. Solid understanding of bookkeeping. Requirements: Proven clerical bookkeeping experience for minimum 2 years. Data entry and typing skills along with a knack for numbers. Hands-on experience with spreadsheets. Experience working with Sage 50 is a strong asset.
