My client is a well established, independent, privately owned business which has been operating for over 25 years, based within commutable distance from Canterbury, Dover, Folkestone, Sandwich and Margate. They are currently looking for an experienced Maintenance Engineer or Manager to take over the day to day maintenance operations within the production facility, ensuring that all equipment is in operational condition and working to its full capacity The Role - Maintenance Manager: - Responsible for the operational reliability of all production equipment / lines on site - Ensuring the availability of spare parts ensuring parts and sourcing externally or fabricating parts internally where needed necessary - Fulfilling planned preventative maintenance as well as reactive maintenance - Advising and mentoring the shift line leaders to complete rudimentary maintenance activities - Ensuring paperwork and works are compliant for auditing purposes ISO22000, food safety management systems - Planning shutdown activities Minimum Skills / Experience Required - Maintenance Manager: - Qualifications in Mechanical or Electrical engineering - Mechanical / Electrical maintenance experience - Experience of working in a FMCG/food manufacturing environment - Hydraulic/pneumatic experience, - Conveyor systems, packaging systems, palletising equipment experience The Package - Maintenance Manager: - Starting salary up to £50,000 per annum - Overtime available - Free onsite parking - 28 Days Holiday - Pension About Precision People Precision People is a leading recruitment agency that specialises in sourcing top talent for Engineering,.
