An excellent opportunity for an Experienced Project Engineer Draftsperson to join a well-established company based on Tadcaster. Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent. Location: Tadcaster. Salary: £27,000 - £40,000 Per Annum, Depending on Experience. The Company: They are a specialist engineering and fabrication business, delivering high quality, high specification access solutions to meet the most challenging situations for leading global brands, including a number of blue-chip companies in the food and drink industries. Offering a full range of fabricated steelwork in mild steel, stainless steel and aluminium and have an extensive range of facilities on site, meaning they have total control over quality, delivery and lead times. The finishes include painting, powder coating, galvanising, and vapour blast and they work closely with their clients to understand their needs and create bespoke solutions, from concept design to on-site fit. They are now looking to recruit an experienced Project Engineer to join their busy team. Job Summary: Responsible for designing and drawing a wide variety of structures, parts and assemblies. Coordinating the processes between order receipt and delivery to customer for assigned projects and providing general support to facilitate successful operations Duties & Responsibilities: Use CAD software to design and generate engineering drawings to enable fabrication of metal structures, parts and assemblies Collaborate and communicate with customers and suppliers to ensure all project deliverables are achieved. Provide technical support to fabrication teams during manufacture and installation processes ensuring all requirements and specifications are understood Ensure compliance with relevant standards and company / industry best practices in all drawings, including ISO9001 and CE requirements Purchase materials required for projects achieving best price and availability Assist in operations activities such as RAMS, audits,.
