As a world leader in the design and manufacturing industry, Active Dynamics is seeking an eager and enthusiastic experienced Production Supervisor to join our successful Toronto team immediately. We are looking for a talent with a solid professional. This role is primarily responsible for the day-to-day function of safety, quality and efficiency in the Weld Department(s). Production is to be completed on time with 100% accuracy, as determined by the Master Scheduler, in order to meet the production schedule and on-time delivery to the customer. This position is reporting to the Production Manager. This position reports to the Operations Manager. What you will be doing: Leads, directs, trains and manages all employees in the Welding and Paint Department(s) including Lead Hands, and Production Employees within the Welding and Paint Departments. Ensures that established standards for labour efficiency & utilization, material utilization & product quality are met within the departments. Participate in daily production shift handover meetings & ensures that the department is following the production schedule & implements corrective action to prevent deviation in order to meet due dates. Responsible to ensure that all production is completed accurately, within Active Exhaust Corp's quality standards and on time as per the production schedule.
