Payroll Administrator/Manager Part-Time Mitchams, a well-established local professional firm of Chartered Accountants in Ilminster, are looking for a Payroll Administrator/Manager to join their team. We are looking for someone who would ideally have the following attributes: • Previous experience with managing payroll, preferably in practice. • Strong knowledge of UK payroll legislation. • Good computer skills and knowledge of Sage payroll. • Capable of liaising with members of staff as well as communicating with clients effectively. • Be comfortable working independently and as part of a team and working to deadlines. • Good attention to detail and a logical approach to problem solving. The successful candidate will also have experience to fulfil the role which will include: • Managing a portfolio of clients, ensuring all payrolls are processed correctly. • Communicating with and managing expectation of clients. • Arranging pension submissions and fulfilling auto-enrolment obligations. • Setting up new payroll schemes when required. • Staying up to date with UK legislation and making necessary adjustments to processes. • Ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
