Our client, a leading provider of Transport and Logistics services, are currently seeking a Sales Executive for their team based in Hertfordshire. The role of the Sales Executive is to identify sales opportunities, develop strategic relationships, and close deals with potential customers. You will be working as part of a team, helping to drive the growth of the business by acquiring new clients and expanding the customer base. Main duties of the Sales Executive: Generate leads through various channels, such as cold calling, networking, referrals, and online research. Build and maintain relationships with existing clients, identifying opportunities for upselling and cross: selling services. Negotiate contracts and terms of agreement with clients. Attend regular meetings with clients and prospects both in person and virtually. The successful Sales Executive will have previous Sales / Business Development experience. You will have experience working as a Sales Executive or in a similar sales role within the Transport and Logistics industry. Knowledge and experience required: Strong knowledge of the transport and logistics industry, including a solid understanding of market trends, competitors, and customer needs. Good commercial sense Strong negotiation and closing skills. Excellent communication skills with the ability to build relationships with clients.
