We are currently working with a leading tier one contractor in the East Midlands and play a pivotal role in commercially leading projects in excess of GBP20 million across a wide variety of sectors. With an impressive track record, they have been at the forefront of some of the most iconic and complex projects in the region and across the UK. Role: As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will be a key member of the commercial team, responsible for overseeing all aspects of cost management, contract administration, and procurement across a diverse range of projects. Your expertise will be pivotal in ensuring the successful delivery of projects while maintaining a keen focus on maximising value, minimising risk, and ensuring the financial success of each endeavour. Key Responsibilities: Lead and manage all aspects of quantity surveying, including cost estimation, contract negotiation, and valuations. Provide strategic input into project planning, procurement, and risk management. Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure accurate and timely cost reporting. Mentor and guide junior members of the quantity surveying team. Drive the successful delivery of projects within budget and time constraints. Requirements: Bachelors degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field. Proven track record of commercially delivering projects in excess of GBP20 million. Expertise across a wide variety of sectors, demonstrating adaptability and versatility. Strong proficiency in cost management software and tools.
