Job Description Credit Controller Location: The Cherwell Hospital, Banbury Hours: 30 hours per week, Full-time Salary: £21,500 PA (Pro rated) + Benefits Summary: The Cherwell Hospital is located in Banbury, Oxfordshire. The hospital has been designed to combine an exceptional standard of patient accommodation with the technical equipment and facilities that modern medicine demands. This Hospital has a 40-bed inpatient unit, consisting of single or twin rooms and a day case facility. The Hospital is equipped to undertake a large range of procedures, treatments and investigations. The Role: The Credit Controller will be reporting to the Business Administration Team Lead. You will be responsible for the credit control processes of the hospital and take a proactive stance to account management. You will be using email, letters and phone calls to contact clients and ensure payment of outstanding invoices whilst assisting with resolving any queries; you will ensure timely posting and full allocation of cash receipts and complete financial reports as required. Skills & Attributes: Ensure all debt is paid to the hospital in accordance with agreed targets Escalate problem accounts to hospital management in a timely manner Ensure timely posting and full allocation of cash receipts Complete relevant financial reports as required Ensure timely response to all requests for information Maintain a database of outstanding debt Calculate prices to raise invoices Ensure good relations with debtorinteractioncellent attention to detail Proficient IT skills, particularly spreadsheets (Excel)Excellent communication skills Previous credit control experience Measurable outcomes: Debtor days remain under agreed targets Bad Debt Provision minimised Benefits: Contributory Pension Scheme Access to the Ramsay Academy – genuine opportunities to grow, develop and specialise in your career25 days’ annual leave plus 8 bank holidays plus the opportunity to buy/sell more Flexible shift.
