Donald’s Fine Foods is in need of Skilled Labour (Meat Packing) NOC Code: 95106 Employment Terms: Full Time - Permanent Brief Job Description Assigned to the DFF Richmond location, the Production Skilled Labour is an integral team member within the production function. The Production Skilled Labour will assist on the various production lines and operating production related equipment. The general duties include but is not limited to all Production General Labour duties, all Production Skilled Labour duties, or operating the Smokehouse. Duties and Responsibilities:1. Must be fully qualified in all jobs on the production line, or must be employed in the capacity of Smokehouse Operator2. Perform at least 3 of the following jobs at line speed: a. Perform pre-trims and/or final trims on various types and cuts of meatb. Operate all grind line equipment and sausage stufferc. Automatic slicer/dicerd. Band Saw Operatore. Skinner Operatorf. Trayer/Wrapperg. Packaging (roll stock)/inspector/Label/Box Machine Operator3. General duties jobs including traying, wrapping, boxing and un-boxing products, bagging, labeling and shift sanitation duties Working Hours: 8 hours/day, 40 hours/week, Monday to Friday 6:00 am – 2:30 pm, weekend work and overtime may be scheduled based on business needs. Wage: $21.60/hour Work Location: 11528 Eburne Way, Richmond, BC Canada V6V 2G7 Employment Requirements: – Education: Some secondary school education may be required– Work Experience: 2 years experience in related industry is required– Basic communication and interpersonal skills– Ability to work in a Cold Environment where one will be standing for extended periods– Ability to physically push, pull, and lift to 50 lbs. – Ability to work effectively and efficiently as a team member– Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
