The responsibility of the Litigation team provides advice on and conducts civil and criminal litigation cases on behalf of all directorates of the Council. Working with solicitors who are experts in their field, you will handle your own caseload of matters, provide representation in court, tribunals, and disciplinary matters from the very beginning. Our client strives to provide the best work: life balance, offering this role as a home: based role with occasional office visits to perform tasks, such as attending meetings/trainings or court hearings. The job will require the successful candidate to be motivated and have strong communication skills as this will be key when liaising with clients. THE CANDIDATE: The successful Litigation Solicitor will have a genuine passion for this area of law and have excellent knowledge of all aspects of litigation. You will be a qualified Solicitor with a minimum of 3 years' experience within a similar role. The ideal candidate for this role must be confident in their ability to deliver an effective, timely, and efficient service to the organisations loyal customers. Applicants should have experience handling contentious regulatory matters, including criminal law, and providing comprehensive advice to council departments covering a broad range of services.
