We have an exciting new role within our Engineering Site Team as a Mechanical Site lead Engineer to facilitate the engineering activities that take place on a day-to-day basis on various work sites and ensure the successful completion of the contract under your supervision. Ensuring activities undertaken on sites are carried out to the highest practicable safety standards and delivered to programme support the demands of the growing business in liquid and powder process solution equipment, consumable supplier to the food, beverage, brewery, bakery, dairy and utility industries throughout the UK. Qualifications / Experience Recognised mechanical engineering qualification NVQ City & Guilds Engineering experience including a supervisory role managing people. Working knowledge of HS&E procedures Io SHMust have experience within the food, beverage, brewery, bakery, dairy, and utility industries Must hold UK driving licence. Main duties To ensure that permits are received and completed in accordance with site rules and regulations. Keep a full and accurate daily site diary, including any changes and variations, subcontractors’ attendance, and records of work-related discussions with client. To maintain records of time and expenditure on site Ensure that plant, equipment, and vehicle inspections are carried out, and defects are reported immediately. Interpret and apply engineering drawings. Skills Strong people management and communications experience. A multi skilled background.
