Job Title: Quality Management System Auditor Location: Greater London Salary: £18.72 - £23.78 p/h Service Care Solutions are currently recruiting for a Quality Management System Auditor to work within the Directorate of Forensic Services of a police force in Greater London. The successful candidate will contribute to the build, maintenance, and improvement of a Quality Management System that satisfies national and international standards and the requirements of the Criminal Justice System. Key Responsibilities: • Conduct internal audits to test adherence to procedures, ISO 17025, ISO 9001, ISO 17020, the Forensic Science Regulator’s Codes of Conduct and Practice, and other applicable standards. • Identify improvement opportunities and provide reassurance to management of the effectiveness of the system on the basis of evidence gathered during audits. • Establish and control system documentation such as procedures and instructions and test their effectiveness through auditing. • Liaise with auditees, process owners, and departmental managers to ensure that corrective / improvement action plans are agreed, implemented, and verified in a timely manner. • Provide written reports on audit findings that identify areas of risk and describe the effectiveness of the management system. • Provide advice and recommendations on quality related matters to staff and management at all levels across the Directorate as appropriate. • Liaise with external auditors to demonstrate the effectiveness of the management system. Essential Qualifications, Skills, Knowledge and Experience: • A knowledge of international standards such as ISO 9001, ISO 17025 and ISO 17020. • Previous experience.
