JOB SUMMARY: To support the finance team in providing a robust accounting and financial reporting function for Simpleview Europe. RESPONSIBILITIES: Management of credit control - Coordinating the debt recovery process and ensuring that invoices are being settled on time, escalating when required and collating a weekly full report to FC. Month End Journal reconciliations and posting – Fixed Assets, Accrual Costs, Accrued Income, Deferred Revenue, Prepayments. Cost Analysis Intercompany Reconciliation Various Statistical Reporting Prepare Quarterly VAT Returns Revenue Recognition Reconciliation Undertake Ad-hoc requests from FC REQUIREMENTS: Minimum 5 years’ experience of working in a finance environment. AAT Level 4 or equivalent qualification or QBE Able to multiskill. Good team player. Excellent Organisational skills PREFERRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE: Ability to work to strict deadlines. Given the growth of the business, the candidate must be a quick learner and be able to work under pressure. Enthusiastic and motivated approach to learning and problem-solving. Accuracy – a high level of accuracy is essential. System skills – fully conversant with Net Suite / Sage line 50 or 100, Excel and other mainstream Office packages. Excellent problem-solving skills. Excellent interpersonal skills and computer literacy. Effective verbal and written communication skills. Office based preferred. No Recruitment Agencies please!
