Responsibility Managing the US corporate tax compliance requirements of our varied client base Preparing, review and advise on complex US corporate tax returns and other related tax filings Responding to the inquiries and requests of the IRS and other tax authorities Researching US corporate tax issues, implement tax minimization strategies and participate in other special tax projects Assisting with client management, foster excellent relationships with clients and initiate business development opportunities Qualifications Nearly qualified, or qualified CPA, with a minimum of two years’ experience working in a public accounting firm in their US tax practice; Working knowledge of US corporate tax preparation software; Experience with dealing with the IRS and State tax authorities; Detail oriented individual with superior organizational and analytical skills; Results oriented individual with the ability to manage multiple priorities and adhere to strict deadlines; Ability to work independently and in a team environment; Outstanding interpersonal skills with a strong focus on client service; Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal. Strong working knowledge of MS Office with the ability to quickly grasp new technological tools. Exposure to Caseware, Tax Prep, Simply Accounting and/or Quick Books software as asset.
