Accountant-controller SRCO Professional Corporation Job details• Location:15 Wertheim Court suite 409Richmond Hill, ONL4B 3H7• Salary: 40.00 hourly / 40 hours per Week• Terms of employment: Permanent employment Full time• Start date: Starts as soon as possible• Benefits: Health benefits, Financial benefits, Other benefits• vacancies1 vacancy Overview Languages English Education• Bachelor's degree Experience1 year to less than 2 years Responsibilities Tasks• Identify clients' financial goals and objectives• Plan, set up and administer accounting systems• Supervise staff• Train staff• Analyze clients' financial records• Arrange training for staff• Ensure accuracy and compliance to accounting standards, procedures and internal control• Prepare financial information for individuals, departments or companies• Develop financial plans for clients• Prepare reports and audit findings• Make recommendations concerning cash management, insurance coverage, investment planning, retirement and estate planning• Prepare financial statements and reports• Recommend improvements to accounting systems and management practices• Arrange for sale of financial products and investments• Conduct field audits of businesses to ensure compliance with provisions of the Income Tax Act, the Canadian Business Corporations Act or other statutory requirements• Develop and maintain cost findings, reporting and internal control procedure• Prepare income tax returns from accounting records• Review and examine financial services and institutions to ensure compliance with governing legislation and regulation• Analyze financial documents and reports• Examine accounting records• Investigate possible unethical conduct or breeches of securities or commodity futures law• Provide financial, business and tax advice• Underwrite new issues of stocks and bonds• Negotiate with corporations and government to determine the type and terms of new securities issue• Prepare offering prospectus for new issues of stocks and bonds•.
