Start Date: As Soon As Possible Location: Wabush, NLJob Type: Full Time, Permanent JOB DESCRIPTION Tasks Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, charts and tables Repair machine tools and parts Set up and adjust production machineries/tools Fit and assemble components and machine parts to close tolerance Maintain, repair and calibrate precision measuring instruments Document and report deviations from specifications and tolerances Maintain inspection records and complete inspection reports Verify dimensions of parts machined using precise measuring instruments (e. g. micrometers, calipers)Compute dimensions and tolerances and measure and lay out work pieces Verify dimensions of products for accuracy and conformance to specifications using precision measuring instrumentinteractionperience and specialization Measuring tools Micrometers Callipers Calibre Gauges Verniers Equipment and machinery experience Boring machines Conventional Drill presses Engine lathes Milling machines Surface grinders Tool grinders Universal grinders Additional information Work conditions and physical capabilities Fast-paced environment Tight deadlines Repetitive tasks Physically demanding Standing for extended periods Attention to detail Overtime required Weight handling Up to 23 kg (50 lbs)Benefits Health benefits Dental plan Disability benefits Health care plan Paramedical services coverage Vision care benefits EDUCATIONLanguages English or French Education Other trades certificate or diplomaor equivalent experience Experience3 years to less than 5 years.
