As the demand for beverage equipment continues to grow, we recognize the need to expand our team to meet the increasing requirements of our clients. Therefore, we are currently seeking a skilled and dedicated procurement specialist to join our team. This role will be responsible for developing specifications and purchasing the general and specialized equipment, reviewing quotations and consulting with suppliers, management of customer orders and carriers. Duties and Responsibilities:1. Purchase general and specialized equipment, materials or business services2. backss requirements of establishment3. Develop specifications for equipment, materials and supplies to be purchased Invite tenders4. Consult with suppliers5. Hire, train and supervise staff6. Review quotations7. Determine contract terms and conditions8. Award contracts or recommend contract awards9. Establish delivery schedules10. Monitor progress of delivery schedules11. Contact clients and suppliers to resolve problems Qualifications:1. Minimum college diploma is required.2. At least 3 years’ work experience as a purchasing officer is required.3. Ability to maintain a professional and positive attitude across all levels of activity and communication both within the company and with suppliers.4. Strong knowledge of supply chain, sourcing, inventory control and applicable laws and regulations is a strong asset.5. Fluent in verbal and oral English.6. Excellent analytical, problem solving and organizational skills is preferred.7. Proficiency in MS office applications.8.
