Position Details: Company Business Name: Coffee Culture Café and Eatery Position: Bookkeeper Number of Positions: 1Terms of Employment: Full-Time, Permanent Wages: $27 - $28 per hour (to be negotiated) / 35 hours per week Location: Burlington, ON Job responsibilities: • Calculate and prepare cheques for payroll• Calculate fixed assets and depreciation• Keep financial records and establish, maintain and balance various accounts using manual and computerized bookkeeping systems• Maintain general ledgers and financial statements• Post journal entries• Prepare other statistical, financial and accounting reports• Prepare tax returns• Prepare trial balance of books• Reconcile accounts Job requirements: • The candidate should be fluent in the English Language• The candidate must have a certificate or diploma from a one-year to two-year College, CEGEP, or other non-university programs• The ideal candidate will have experience of 1 year to less than 2 years• The candidate should have knowledge of accounting software, MS Excel, MS Power Point, MS Word and other MS Office applications• The candidate must have attention to detail, ability to work under tight deadlines, should be organized anddependable.
