Job Description The Payroll Coordinator II Performs tasks to maintain employee/payroll records. Duties will include data entry, validation and auditing of work performed. This position will support general administrative tasks across the payroll team. Reporting to the Payroll Supervisor, Payroll Analyst is responsible for collection and processing of payroll information for the company’s payrolls, while maintaining a high level of confidentiality. Job Responsibilities Assists in the maintenance of payroll related employee information by collecting, calculating, and entering data into spreadsheets for upload to the UKG application Process Record of Employments (ROEs) & address any queries made by employees and/or the Service Canada regarding the content of those ROE’s. Update payroll tax related fields in the employee My Pay application such as entering Federal and Provincial tax exemptions and additional tax amounts Setup, run related reports and prepare cheque requisitions for AP processing, as required, for employee Garnishments and Family Support Orders Respond to & track queries from unions, court officials relating to Garnishments and Family Support and external government agencies regarding questions they may have on payroll related matters. Contact Front Line Managers/supervisors regarding payroll related issues Performs garnishment related duties or special projects as assigned: to include garnishment keying, interpretation, reconciliation, and completing interrogatories Uses personal computer and various ARAMARK systems applications including Ulti Pro, HCMS, and to perform basic research and information retrieval. Performs data entry associated with employee maintenance (e. g. non-health and welfare deductions, union dues) directly into the payroll system Performs various clerical functions to assist with daily employee or payroll processing.
