Rentco Equipment Ltd. is a fast-paced local company that has been servicing Grande Prairie and the Peace Country for 60 years. We provide construction, oilfield, and homeowner equipment and consumables in the areas. We are currently looking for a temporary full-time Service Administrator/Parts Runner to cover a maternity leave at our Grande Prairie Head Office shop. As the Service Administrator/Parts Runner, you are responsible for: Efficiently picking up and delivering parts and equipment Providing administrative support to the Service Manager by: Obtaining, verifying, and double checking that correct information is in our Point of Rental system (serial/VIN numbers, equipment hours, company, contact, phone numbers) Opening and closing work orders Creating and completing Purchase Orders for outside purchases You have the following knowledge, skills, and abilities: Clean Class 5 licence with own insurance for 3 years Excellent time management skills Excellent problem solving abilities Intermediate computer skills, including programs Microsoft Excel and Outlook, and the ability to learn our internal software Ability to work both indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions Ability to work with your hands and lift heavy objects Ability to work while wearing PPE required including steel-toed boots and safety glasses Basic understanding of construction equipment would be an asset Rentco Equipment offers you: Competitive wages Employee discount and free rentals Promote from within policy Employee referral bonus Fantastic team to work with Monthly cake days to celebrate birthdays and work anniversaries Powered by Jazz HR.
