In House General Counsel NeededIn House Counsel Jobs JDHuntr 35868 General Counsel, NY go to JDHuntr The attorney would serve as the Global Head of the M and A Group and provide transactional and advisory legal services in connection with proprietary strategic M and A transactions. The attorney would serve as the principal Legal Corporate M and A advisor to businesses, Corporate M and A Group that heads up corporate strategy and development and various functional teams (e.g., Tax, Bank Regulatory, Risk and Accounting). The attorney would advise on the full life cycle of exploration and execution of M and A projects (i.e., structuring, documentation, negotiation strategies and risk assessments). The General Counsel, provides strategic and procedural legal advice, with a focus on operations, underwriting, product, and regulatory compliance. The Vice President reviews and evaluates the legal risks, including current and proposed business strategies, regulatory issues, corporate governance, high level transactions, and other legal and compliance matters as needed.
