The Front of House Manager is in charge of the day to day operations and customer experience. The duties and responsibilities of the role include but are not limited to: -Oversee the front desk staff including training and scheduling based on anticipated occupancy. -Create and enforce procedures for the front desk staff to follow daily, weekly, and in specific situations.-Oversee all hotel and dining reservations for accuracy and revenue optimization. -Perform pre check-in guest room inspections -Monitor cash handling procedures. Work with the finance office to ensure accuracy in all guest billings, house accounts, credit card transactions and daily audit.-Monitor inventory and supplies and place orders as needed.-Communicate with housekeeping and maintenance to ensure all areas of the property are clean and well maintained and that safety standards are met at all times. -Communicate with the kitchen, event, dining room, bar and other departments as needed to ensure guest satisfaction.-Implement effective and efficient inter-department communication methods.-Work closely with the AM Front of House Manager to anticipate the needs of our guests and ensure that welcoming and professional customer service is provided to everyone who visits the property.-Handle complaints in a professional manner and resolve any issues quickly, discreetly and efficiently.
