The Attorney plays a pivotal role in providing legal counsel, strategic guidance, and representation to our clients. Responsibilities: Provide legal representation to clients in various legal proceedings, such as hearings, trials, arbitrations, and negotiations. Conduct legal research to stay abreast of developments in the law and ensure the provision of accurate and up-to-date legal advice. Consult with clients to understand their legal concerns, objectives, and expectations. Offer clear and concise legal advice, explaining complex legal concepts in an accessible manner. Manage a caseload, ensuring that all cases are handled efficiently, ethically, and in compliance with relevant laws and regulations. Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, contracts, and agreements. Analyze legal issues and provide recommendations based on a thorough examination of applicable laws, regulations, and precedents. Evaluate the strengths and weaknesses of cases to formulate effective legal strategies. Collaborate with paralegals, legal assistants, and support staff to ensure seamless case progression and client satisfaction. Interface effectively with other attorneys within the firm to share knowledge and insights. Maintain regular communication with clients, keeping them informed about the progress of their cases and addressing any concerns. Update clients on legal developments that may impact their interests. Represent clients in court appearances, including hearings, trials, and other legal proceedings. Prepare and present compelling legal arguments to support client positions. Ensure compliance with ethical standards, legal requirements, and professional regulations. Uphold confidentiality and attorney-client privilege in all interactions. Qualifications: Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school. Admitted to practice law in Colorado. 5 years of relevant legal experience in property insurance, preferred. Strong research, writing, and oral advocacy skills. Demonstrated ability to manage a diverse caseload. Commitment to maintaining continuing legal education and staying informed about changes in relevant laws. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
