Bring your passion, commitment and curiosity and come grow with us as together we work to make our world a better place.WHAT YOU'LL DOPerforms optical fabrication processes, including but not limited to coring, sawing, curve generating, plano generating, beveling, blocking, grinding, polishing, MRF operation, testing, cleaning, assembly, plus other related and similar duties. Performs moderately complex set ups and operates optical fabrication equipment on assignments of medium to difficult under minimal direction. Work from written and/or verbal instructions.Maintains work area and equipment in a neat and orderly condition.Follows prescribed safety regulationsUnderstands and follows ISO proceduresReads and interprets blueprints, and process routinesPerforms other similar and related duties as assignedWHAT YOU NEED TO KNOWHigh school diploma or equivalent required, plus a minimum of 5 years related experience in a precision optics fabrication facilityMust be able to read blueprintsExperience in manufacturing environmentExperience with troubleshooting of processesWHAT'S NICE TO HAVE Previous experience in optical fabrication company WHAT YOU WANT TO KNOW Competitive benefits 401(k) Due to the nature of Zygo's programs, products and customers, all applicants must have the legal right to work in the United States of America and must be legally authorized to access export-controlled information and source code.
