Conducting detailed examinations and analysis of financial records, transactions, and supporting documentation to verify their compliance with accounting standards and internal policies. Additionally, Wholesale Audits by performing floorplan audits at wholesale dealer locations to ensure compliance with MBFS USA LLC credit policies and lending agreements. Conducting both Physical (Class 1) and Book (Class 2) audits in an effort to minimize credit risk. Assisting in the financial audit process through the validation of inventory in both Bank Cut Offs (BCO) /Limited Financial Reviews (LFR) and conducting inventory audits for floorplan acquisitions. *Travel Requirement - 50%*u003C/p>nu003Cp>Responsibilities:u003C/p>nnnnu003Cul>nu003Cli>Audit Performance: Lead and perform both on-site and remote balance sheet reviews (Limited Financial Review (LFR) Financial Review Analysis (FRA) and Bank Cutoff (BCO)) of automotive dealership's and fleet leasing customer's in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles( GAAP), with emphasis on working capital, net worth and net cash and vehicle equity. Perform the inventory audit to support the Bank Cut Off (BCO)/Limited Financial Review (LFR) financial audits. Evaluate accuracy of accounting entries and adequacy on internal control systems, operating policies and procedures. Audit Planning: Prepare and send engagement letters outlining audit plan to both dealer / fleet customer and MBFS Dealer Credit Department. Audit Reporting: Document audit findings, observations, and recommendations in clear and concise reports. Communicate audit results to both internal and external management. (50%)u003C/li>nu003Cli>Perform Lease Line Audits of Fleet Credit customers to evaluate adequacy of internal control systems, operating policies, procedures and compliance with MBFS Loan requirements. (20%)u003C/li>nu003Cli>Perform both physical (Class 1) and book (class 2) Mercedes Benz Financial Services USA LLC wholesale dealers. This process includes physically verifying floor planned inventory, inspecting dealership records, and reconciling missing vehicles. The process may also include follow-up on vehicles not reconciled during the audit. Performing Book (Class 2) audits involves verifying sale records of sold vehicles. (95% Travel Required) (20%)u003C/li>nu003Cli>Assist in the Wholesale Audit Manager and Wholesale Audit Analysts in the closure of irregularities of completed physical audits. Work with the outside vendor Data Scan Field Services to resolve outstanding audit issues.
