Responsible for overseeing the financial operations, fiscal and risk management of FamilyCore. Promote the culture and competencies of Leaders Grow Leaders; Leaders Get Measurable Results and Leaders Shape FamilyCore Culture. Leaders Get Measurable Results Innovation- New programming, new funding sources, new partnerships, or collaborations Operational Excellence- Program Management, Program Delivery, Contractual Obligations, Council on Accreditation, Medicaid, and other regulatory contracts. Customer Excellence and Satisfaction- responses, management, and participation Leaders Shape FamilyCore Culture Transformation that crosses total FamilyCore impacts Collaboration that impacts FamilyCore Ambassador internal and external to FamilyCore, marketing all services. Responsibilities: Oversee financial operations, fiscal and risk management of FamilyCore, including but not limited to, the accounting function, payroll allocation, accounts payable and accounts receivable, asset contract and FamilyCore's cash position. Ensure all fiscal functions comply with applicable local, state and federal requirements and that the department operates in a fiscally responsible manner. Develop FamilyCore's annual operating budget in conjunction with the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and Board of Directors. Ensure the financial commitments outlined in FamilyCore's contractual agreements are met. Use program data to develop budgets for contractual proposals. Oversee audits and ensure the audit is completed and submitted as required. Produce detailed analysis of financial statements and related matters requested by the Chief Executive Officer or Board of Directors. Assure the provision of appropriate insurance, facilities, furniture, equipment, and supplies for FamilyCore. Monitor and direct the implementation of strategic business plans. Oversee the employee benefit plans in collaboration with the Human Resources Director and Chief Executive Officer with emphasis on maximizing a cost-effective benefits package. Oversee the development and maintenance of procedures and distribution of quality documentation that complies with the requirements of accreditation, licensing, and contracts. Adhere to standards adopted through Council on Accreditation. Ability to organize and maintain data and confidential information. Develop and maintain working relationships with all internal and external clients. Ensure Department operates in a fiscally responsible manner and manages and responds to all contract requirements. Collaborate and contribute to team and FamilyCore quality improvement and evaluation activities. Ensure safety protocols and policies are practiced at all times. Assume responsibility for professional development and cultural competency. *Perform other duties as assigned. Requirements: Education and Experience: Master's degree from an accredited university in business administration or financial management systems preferred. Certified Public Accountant required. 3 years' experience in financial management position required. Experience in not-for-profit and government contracts preferred. Supervisory experience preferred. Competency: Excellent communication and organizational skills. Collaborate and contribute to team and FamilyCore quality improvement and evaluation activities. Oversee the development and the maintenance of procedures and distribution of quality documentation that complies with the requirements of accreditation, licensing, and contracts.  Promote and demonstrate commitment to FamilyCore's mission, vision and values. Strong skill in the areas of fiscal, personnel, and administrative management. Highly responsive to client and staff needs with respect to the National Association of Social Workers Code of Ethics. Strong interpersonal, problem-solving, and teamwork skills. Ability to analyze, process, organize, present and maintain data and confidential information. Working knowledge of current laws, regulations, and practices required. Proficient in, or the ability to become proficient in, accounting software, Management Information Systems, computerized information systems, Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint. Ability to establish and maintain a client focus. Ability to set and maintain professional boundaries with clients. Must possess valid Illinois Driver's License in good standing and proof of valid vehicle insurance. Must pass required background check with Illinois Department of Children and Family Services (DCFS). Must pass background checks with Illinois Department of Public Health (IDPH) Health Care Worker Registry, and Illinois Department of Healthcare and Family Services OIG Provider Sanctions. Utilize time tracking software and all other software required to fulfill duties. Ability to be sensitive and understanding of cultural and lifestyle differences of all people regardless of race, religion, sexual orientation, age, or background. Safe, reliable personal vehicle, to be used for FamilyCore business. Successfully complete FamilyCore training as required. Physical: Regular sitting, walking, standing, grasping, fingering, reaching and lifting, pulling and pushing up to 10 lbs. Occasional stooping and reaching overhead. Operate general office equipment, including multi-line phone, fax machine, printer, copier, and personal computer, with or without dual monitors. Perform all job duties with or without reasonable accommodation. Work Environment: Work occurs in and out of an office environment. Occasionally exposed to outdoor weather conditions. May be subject to noise, distraction, and interruptions. May be subject difficult client interactions that involve behavioral and/or emotional challenges.
