Heavy Equipment Operator Position Location: Blythwood, SC 29016 Position Type: Full-Time Position Pay: $22.00 - $28.00 Job Type: Commercial Construction We are seeking an experienced Heavy Equipment Operator for a position in Blythewood, SC. The ideal candidate for this position must have a minimum of 6 months of experience operating forklifts, Backhoe, Skid Steers, and Excavators safely and effectively. Heavy Equipment Operator Job Duties: Operate and maneuver heavy equipment in a safe and effective manner Perform routine inspections on equipment Always observe safety codes while operating equipment Inspect equipment before operating to ensure it's in working order Monitor performance and adjust settings Fill out performance records to report equipment issues Track maintenance, and alert supervisors when maintenance is due Other duties as requested by supervisors Minimum Qualifications: Advanced knowledge of safety protocols and procedures related to operating heavy equipment Excellent verbal communication skills Ability to remain stationary in seats while operating equipment for prolonged periods Basic writing skills to accurately complete reports, logs, etc. An Equal Opportunity Employer
