Job Summary: As a UX Designer at Lovelace AI, you will play a key role in bridging the gap between machine learning development and operational deployment. Your primary responsibilities will include designing, implementing, and optimizing end-to-end machine learning pipelines, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems. Key Responsibilities: Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to understand user requirements and business objectives. Conduct user research, including interviews, surveys, and usability testing, to gain insights into user needs and behaviors. Create wireframes, mockups, and prototypes to communicate design concepts and solutions. Develop state-of-the-art GIS-based user interface. Design user interfaces for web-based and mobile applications, considering usability principles, accessibility guidelines, and industry best practices. Work with development teams to implement designs and ensure a consistent user experience across platforms. Iterate on designs based on user feedback and usability testing results. Stay current with UX trends, tools, and technologies, and share knowledge with the team. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or related field. 3+ years of experience in UX/UI design, preferably in the defense or government sector. Proficiency in design tools such as Sketch, Adobe XD, or Figma. Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and methodologies. Experience with user research techniques, including usability testing and user interviews. Knowledge of accessibility standards (e.g., WCAG) and experience designing accessible interfaces. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance (if required). Must be a US Citizen. Preferred Skills: Experience designing for complex enterprise or government systems. Previous experience designing sophisticated GIS user interfaces. Experience designing video game interfaces is a plus. Familiarity with agile development methodologies. Knowledge of military or defense industry standards and protocols.
