Position Summary The Program Manager II will oversee activities for delivering space and satellite products to government and commercial customers. The selected candidate will manage programs from contract kickoff to contract completion with limited supervision. The successful candidate will own the customer relationship and interact with multiple organizations including engineering, operations, quality assurance, contracts, finance, and security. This is a hands-on position in a very dynamic and fast-growing environment. Duties And Responsibilities The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following: Managing one or more external customer programs. Developing program objectives by reviewing contract documents and conferring with cross-functional management. Developing master plans and schedules. Leading and directing cross functional teams in execution of programs. Performing liaison function between Engineering and manufacturing operations for transition to production. Performing risk management by identifying, assessing, and mitigating impacts to programs. Meeting financial objectives by forecasting requirements, analyzing variances, and initiating corrective actions. Work with quality personnel to ensure that all product deliverables are in compliance with contracts. Managing subcontractor actions and performance. Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities) Four-year degree in Aerospace Engineering, Business Administration, etc. required. 6 or more years of cross-functional program management experience. 4 or more years managing external customers for DoD, Aerospace, or related government programs. Strong communication, leadership, presentation, and interpersonal skills. Experience managing products from through development gates to production. Ability to utilize excellent decision making and risk management skills to meet profit and schedule goals. Ability to obtain a U.S. security clearance. Desired Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities) Experience with MS Project and or other Integrates Master Scheduling tools. Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS) experience and/or training. Experience/familiarity with electronic systems. Physical Demands and Work Environment The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this position. The employee is occasionally required to move, position self, and reach with hands and arms. The employee must occasionally transport up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this position include clarity of vision at approximately 20 inches or less (i.e., working with small objects or reading small print), including use of computers, far visual acuity, and peripheral vision. The noise level in the work environment is usually low to moderate. Salary range: $120,000.00 - $140,000.00 However, Innoflight considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, education/training, and key skills. Employees may be eligible for profit sharing and discretionary bonuses in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results.
