Job Requirements Maintenance Technician is responsible for participating in the Total and Preventive 2nd shift availability Maintenance (TPM) for all equipment and facilities Install, repair and maintain all equipment and facilities Analyse mechanical and operational problems on assigned equipment and make necessary corrections and running adjustments to maintain maximum production and quality Examine and test equipment after repairs, changeovers or extended downtime Record operational data, such as pressure readings, length of stroke, feeds and speeds for use in set-up and preventive maintenance records Review Production System Efficiency and Quality System Efficiency workshops to support continuous improvement; propose and implement continuous productivity, process and quality improvement actions for all facilities Facilitate equipment moves on the shop floor Give advice on technical specifications of new equipment and alterations on existing equipment and facilities, making sure manufacturing, maintainability and Health, Safety & Environmental requirements are met Set up requisitions for supplies, equipment and facilities Participate in the management of the inventory of spare parts and consumables to eliminate downtime Keep most recent documentation related to maintenance All other duties as assigned Job Qualifications Quality System: Understand, apply and meet all function-related Quality requirements Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS): Understand, apply and meet all function-related EHS requirements Product Safety: Understand, apply and meet all function-related Product Safety requirements Compliance: Understand, apply and meet all function-related Compliance requirements Information Security: Understand, apply and meet all function-related IT / Information Security and confidentiality of YFAI information requirements Must comply with all company policies and procedures Employee must have the ability to work additional hours and / or overtime as needed or assigned to complete job duties on time Ability to multitask, interact politely and professionally with customers, suppliers and vendors, and work cooperatively with employees at all levels Ability to maintain predictable and regular attendance, arrive to designated location on time, or be at assigned location ready to work for assignment (plant, corporate office, or remote) 3 Minimum Years of Experience with Maintenance / Engineering 1-3 Minimum Years of Experience within the automotive industry Must be able and willing to travel and work at customer sites, including industrial manufacturing plants which might require climbing, lifting, or working in confined spaces Ability to read and understand hydraulic, electrical, and pneumatic prints Ability to troubleshoot electrical issues - 24v dc, 120v, 240v, and 3 phase electronic circuits Experience operating basic shop tools High level of mechanical aptitude Proven ability to undertake tasks of substantial variety and/or complexity, which require an extensive knowledge of fabrication/processing techniques, tools, materials, machines, and equipment Ability to work in matrix organization Reliance One, Inc. provides equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants for employment and prohibits discrimination and harassment of any type without regard to race, color, religion, age, sex, national origin, disability status, genetics, protected veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state or local laws.
