Summary Work under the direction of the Sr. Compliance Manager to ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations, while adhering to company policies and procedures. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Responsible for auditing applicant files for required documentation and requirements. Ensure required documentation is received, stored, and preserved in various systems Assist with regular internal and external audits on employee and patient files Support recruitment with assuring completion and storage of required documents Report trends to Manager regarding quality, timeliness, and accuracy of document management Complete background checks and Form I-9 approvals by documenting the results in accordance with policy, regulations, and laws Assists HR and management with any questions regarding process or documentation Assist with the tracking and completion of various record requirements (ie: annual trainings, policy updates, etc.) Be aware of company policies and procedures and able to communicate those effectively to others Able to work independently and as part of a team Other duties as assigned Qualifications and Skills: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Preferred AS, BA or BS in Health Care or Business related field General knowledge of contract requirements Strong computer skills required. Experience with Microsoft Suite (i.e. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) Able to follow through and work independently Pay close attention to detail Strong analytical skills and organized. These services include (but are not limited to) assistance with self-administration of medications, personal care such as assistance with personal hygiene, dressing, and feeding, homemaking such as assistance with household tasks housekeeping, shopping, meal planning and preparation, and transportation, companionship, respite care such as assistance and support provided to the family; and other non-skilled services. We conduct criminal background checks when required on all staff. We also conduct physicals and tuberculosis screenings for all direct care workers and office staff with direct consumer contact upon hiring and on a yearly basis. The direct care workers of the Company are required to complete a minimum of forty (40) hours of experience or practical training and a competency evaluation, or a state certification program. This training includes information regarding personal hygiene, safe transfer techniques, infection control, and basic nutrition. All direct care workers of our company also receive supervised practical training before having direct contact with a consumer or verification of prior experience.
