Job Duties:- Diagnose and treat problems with teeth and tissues in the mouth, along with giving advice and administering care to help prevent future problems.-Remove tooth decay, fill cavities, examine x-rays, and repair fractured teeth.-Perform surgical extractions and other minor dental surgeries.-Perform Root canal treatments, and other endodontic measures.-Prepare for and place crowns and bridges.-Administer anesthetics and write prescriptions for antibiotics and other medications.-Supervise two dental assistants.-Follow control procedures of clinical functions, safety, environmental and infection control standards. DDS or DMD degree and 36 months of experience as a Dentist is required. Must have a valid license to practice Dentistry in the State of California, as well as a DEA Registration Certificate to prescribe medication. Experience in endodontics and surgery is required.
