We are a very well-established private practice in beautiful Farmville with a full -time opportunity available for a talented Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) to become part of our family.We are offering excellent compensation as well as:· Professional Development· Secure Employment· Steady income (top of the market)· Team environment· Exceptional ColleaguesResponsibilities:- Perform dental hygiene procedures, including cleaning teeth, removing plaque, and applying fluoride treatments- Conduct patient assessments, including oral health screenings and medical history reviews- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and provide personalized recommendations for dental care- Assist the dentist during procedures by handing them instruments and providing suction- Maintain infection control protocols and ensure aseptic technique is followed at all times- Utilize dental software such as Dentrix and Open Dental for patient charting and scheduling- Stay up-to-date with current dental practices and advancements in the fieldRequirements:- Valid VA dental hygiene license- Graduation from an accredited dental hygiene program- Knowledge of dental anatomy and oral health conditions- Familiarity with medical coding and billing procedures- Understanding of HIPAA regulations and patient privacy laws- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients and dental team membersWe'd love to discuss your credentials, career goals and the great opportunities available with us.
