Opus Communities in Lexington, KY Description: We are currently looking for a dedicated HVAC Maintenance Technician to oversee the HVAC systems at our residential apartment complex. The ideal candidate will specialize in maintaining and repairing existing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems to ensure optimal functioning and tenant comfort. This property management position earns a starting competitive wage of $19/hour , depending on experience. Responsibilities: Conduct regular maintenance checks on HVAC systems within the apartment complex. Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair HVAC systems and components, experience with PTAC systems not required but is a bonus. Ensure all HVAC systems operate efficiently and meet safety standards. Respond to tenant reports of HVAC issues in a timely and professional manner. Maintain detailed documentation of maintenance schedules, repairs, and replacements. Advise management on major repairs or equipment replacements as needed. Requirements: Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle for onsite duties. Journeyman HVAC certification or nearing completion of certification courses within 6 months. Experience with residential HVAC systems. Ability to interpret blueprints and technical diagrams. Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively interact with tenants and team members. WORK SCHEDULE This full-time position typically works 40 hours/week from 9:00 am - 6:00 pm in addition to on-call hours. ARE YOU READY TO JOIN OUR TEAM?
