Revology Cars is hiring a Purchasing Manager at the Orlando facility where we build new Ford-licensed reproduction 1965-68 Mustang and Shelby GT automobiles.ABOUT THE JOBThe Purchasing Manager manages relationships with suppliers to ensure the timely and cost-effective acquisition of high-quality materials, components, and services essential for our production process. Key responsibilities include: Manage 200+ existing suppliers of purchased parts, raw materials, supplies, subcontract, and outsourced services. Submit RFPs, evaluate supplier proposals and select new suppliers. Negotiate supplier agreements, including cost and terms. Monitor and review supplier performance. Interface with the Quality Office on supplier quality concerns. Work closely with engineering teams to find solutions that minimize variable cost in new product designs without compromising quality or functionality. Identify opportunities to reduce materials cost in existing products. ABOUT REVOLOGY CARS We are the first company ever licensed by Ford Motor Company to build a new reproduction Ford automobile and are presently the only company in the world licensed by Ford to build a new reproduction 1960s Mustang. REQUIREMENTS Bachelor's degree in business, information technology, science, or engineering. Five or more years of experience in an automotive components purchasing role, preferably with an OEM. Demonstrated negotiation skills with the ability to drive cost savings and favorable terms. Detailed understanding of cost accounting. Excellent written English skills. Obsessive attention to detail. Familiar with Microsoft Office applications. PAY AND BENEFITS $140-175k base salary, depending on skills and experience. 20% performance bonus. Company-sponsored medical, dental, and vision coverage and Employee Assistance Program (EAP). 401(k) with up to 4% company match. Three weeks of paid vacation plus one week of sick leave. Paid holidays include Martin Luther King Jr. Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, and New Year's Day.
