Machinist Job Summary: O perates milling machines but also has the knowledge of tooling and materials required to create set ups on machine tools such as milling machines, grinders, lathes, and drilling machines. Responsibilities: Make adjustments to the machine to control speed, material feed and path of the cut. Make sure the machines are set up properly, working well, and producing quality product. Look at the finished product to ensure it is defect-free and ready for the next step in production. Being able to read schematics. Having good written and verbal communication skills. Being able to detect malfunctions. Having manual dexterity. Being accurate. Having understanding of using repair tools, testing machinery, and equipments. Having knowledge of metals. Being able to stand for long periods of time. Qualifications: Must be an expert at milling, grinding EDM to close tolerances. Powered by JazzHR
