The ideal candidate will be adept at defending employers against single-plaintiff discrimination, harassment, retaliation claims, and ERISA litigation. This role requires a dedicated professional who can effectively manage various legal tasks while maintaining occasional in-office presence for critical meetings and court-related activities.Duties:Represent and defend employers in litigation involving discrimination, harassment, retaliation, and ERISA disputes.Handle all stages of litigation, including case assessment, pleadings, discovery, pre-trial, trial, settlement, and appeal.Conduct depositions, prepare and respond to discovery requests, and engage in motion practice.Appear in court for hearings and trials and participate in mediation and arbitration proceedings.Provide legal advice and guidance on compliance with federal and state labor and employment laws.Draft legal documents, including briefs, motions, and settlement agreements.Work closely with clients to understand their legal needs and develop strategies that align with their business objectives.Requirements:3-6 years of experience in employment litigation, with a strong emphasis on defending employers.Proven track record in handling single plaintiff and ERISA litigation cases.Must be licensed to practice law in the United States, with a preference for candidates licensed in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and/or New York.Demonstrated ability to manage a litigation caseload effectively.Excellent academic credentials and solid experience defending employment actions in agencies and courts.Requires occasional in-office presence for team collaboration, client meetings, depositions, and court appearances.Education:Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.Certifications:Active membership and good standing in the bar of at least one of Pennsylvania, New Jersey, or New York.Skills:Strong legal research, analytical, and problem-solving skills.Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.Capability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.Proficient in legal research tools and familiarity with court filing systems.High level of professionalism and commitment to client confidentiality.This position offers a dynamic work environment where professional growth is encouraged.
