We currently have an opening for a Lot Attendant in our Brooklyn Center, Minnesota location. The successful candidate will possess excellent organizational skills, be a self-starter, and have some mechanical aptitude. The position is full-time, Monday - Friday, 1st shift. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Manage the flow of inbound and outbound equipment in the lot. Basic mechanical work, i.e. fill flat tires, battery jumps and changes. Keep the equipment in the lot organized. Maintain the appearance of the yard; keep free of weeds and debris, plow and shovel snow. Load pallets into large dumpster using forklift or by hand. Assist drivers with staging and detailing of equipment that is going out for delivery. Safely operate a forklift. Effectively work within a team to meet customer needs. Backup to the wash bay as needed. Transportation of equipment to offsite location. Education and/or Experience High School diploma or equivalent. Valid driver’s license with a clean record. Mechanical aptitude required. Technical degree preferred. Ability to safely operate equipment and machines. Ability to recognize problem and initiate a solution. Possess excellent organizational skills. Self-starter. Must be able to lift, push, and pull up to 75 pounds. Strong customer service/communication skills. Safely and effectively use several types of repair/service tools: pressure washer, hand and power tools. MTI offers a competitive salary; based upon the qualifications of the selected candidate.
