Accuracy Checking shop Technician : Shropshire : training provided in NHS Hunter Gatherer AHP have an opportunity for an ACT to join an inpatient dispensary service in a hospital in Shropshire. The Lead Pharmacist for the department is looking for a qualified ACT to join the team on a full: time locum basis and comprehensive training within the post is provided This is a 6: month ongoing contract as this is a long: standing gap within the department. As an accredited checking technician, you will be responsible for the final check of patients medication and will also participate in the dispensing/supply of cytotoxic drugs. All activities within the dispensary will be carried out in line with trust procedures and standard healthcare guidelines. This will be a dispensary: based post and can be seen as a great avenue to get into a brand new sector for those with no prior NHS shop work on their CV.
