In this position, you will be providing both technical and leadership support to our manufacturing teams as they work to build our products. This role is a working leader. You will be hands on with the design, manufacturing, and testing of our components and products while also leading and growing an engineering support team. Job Location: This position is located on:site Marshall, MN. We are situated in Southwest Minnesota: rural enough to have plenty of outdoor adventures but also just an hour and half East of Sioux Falls, SD. What you will be doing: stylemargin:bottom:11.0px::You will be directing department activities to coordinate and design new products, modify exiting designs, improve production techniques, and develop test procedures.:You will evaluate process and equipment automation to increase capacity.:You are responsible for process capability analysis and improvement generation to facilitate continued production time reduction.:You will be leading continuous improvement projects.:You are growing your team and ensuring they complete projects in timely manner .What you will bring along: stylemargin:bottom:11.0px::B.S. in Engineering or Applied Sciences, MS preferred, or equivalent experience.:Ability to effectively communicate both in person and in writing.:Proficient MS Office Suite skills.:Preferred 3 years of supervisory experience in related area couple with strong people management and presentation skills.What can we offer you for your talent: Vishay offers a comprehensive suite of benefit programs including health care coverage, financial support programs and other resources designed to help you achieve your personal and professional goals.
