Summary Gainwell Technologies (Gainwell) is a contractor for the California Department of Health Care Services (DHCS) to support the Medi:Cal Dental Program. The clinical screening component of the program helps determine whether dental services are performed in accordance with program policy, ensuring Medi:Cal members have access to quality, appropriate, and cost:effective dental services. The program is in need of dentists across California to serve as Clinical Screening Dentists (CSDs) to perform examinations as part of a second opinion, as necessary. Your role in our mission stylemargin:bottom:11.0px:: Conduct clinical assessments for proposed and completed dental treatments.: Complete a clinical screening report based on clinical assessment.: Assist in determining the quality and appropriateness of dental care.: Collaborate with our dedicated team to enhance patient outcomes.: Help us maintain the highest standards of dental care. What were looking for stylemargin:bottom:11.0px:: Minimum of 10 years of dental practice experience.: Active California dental license, in good standing. What you should expect in this role typedisc:: Video cameras must be used during all interviews, as well as during the initial week of orientation if hired.: Appointments with CSDs will be generally scheduled and coordinated based on the availabilities of the CSD and the Medi:Cal member. : There is no obligation to conduct a minimum number of clinical screenings. : CSDs are reimbursed per screening exam performed which includes a report of the exam findings. : CSDs are also reimbursed per missed appointment if the Medi:Cal member does not attend the scheduled appointment. : In certain instances, mileage may also be covered should travel be required, such as screenings within long:term care facilities. LI:NB1 LI:DNI This position is intended for pipelining. We will accept applications on an ongoing basis. The pay range for this position is65,000:120,000 per year, however, the base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job:related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
