The minimum annual salary is 75,000.00. Employees of the Department of Financial Services are paid on a monthly pay cycle. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONSFOR THIS POSITION INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING REQUIRED ENTRY LEVEL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES: :Knowledge of Microsoft Office and either Westlaw or Lexis/Nexis legal research tools. BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES: The Prosecution and Enforcement section represents DFS on behalf of the Divisions of Insurance Agent and Agency Services, State Fire Marshal, and Funeral, Cemetery, and Consumer Services. Attorneys in this section have the opportunity to practice administrative and appellate matters. This section represents DFS in matters relating to licensee discipline, licensure denial, legislative bill analysis, and rule development. Attorneys who work with the Division of Funeral, Cemetery, and Consumer Services will have the opportunity to gain valuable experience in litigating before a board.
