The Role The Material Control Manager is responsible for directing the receiving, storing, disbursing, and delivering of supplies and materials according to company needs and requirements. Qualifications: :5+ years' experience in material controls, within industrial or commercial construction industry, preferred :Knowledge of supply chain and inventory management systems :Experience with inventory, scheduling, and budgeting preferred :Must demonstrate a strong ability to: stylelist:style:type:circle::Adapt and be flexible to frequent changes in a fast:paced work environment :Demonstrate integrity consistent with Bilfinger's core values :Collaborate and work effectively in a team environment with people of various backgrounds and styles :Strong verbal and written communication skills, to include clear, concise, and professional presentation of information :Adapt to the constantly evolving world of technology, design, means and methods, systems may include but not limited to: Microsoft Office suite, Microsoft Project, Lean Construction Principles, other construction systems :Mentor and train assistant level operations team members :Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field highly desired Responsibilities: :Directs production and inventory control, shipping and receiving, and materials storage. : Maintains inventory levels to ensure deliveries occur within customer timelines. : Maintains and ensures accuracy of the perpetual inventory system. : Works with purchasing department to schedule delivery of materials, supplies, and equipment. : Oversees shipping and receiving functions related to purchased parts. : Identifies opportunities to reduce transportation costs and charges. : Manages and monitors storage of purchased parts. :Performs write:offs on damaged or obsolete inventory to reflect accurate value of inventory. : Establishes procedures for conducting and valuing year:end physical inventory. :Performs other job related duties as assigned. :Safety: Ensures compliance with Bilfinger Industrial Services' Health, Safety, Environment and Quality (HSEQ) guidelines and procedures along with all local and site:specific requirements (OSHA, etc.). :Occasional travel may be required. :Performance of the job duties will be in an on project site:office environment along with daily project walks that are under construction which may include various weather conditions. : The physical demands described below are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job: stylelist:style:type:circle::The ability to wal
