The University of Iowa Community Clinics is seeking a patient centered 100% (40 hours a week) Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to work at our Obstetrics and Gynecology Clinic, Coralville clinic.For nearly 50 years, the health and wellness of our patients has been our primary focus. Summary: Under direct supervision of LIP (licensed independent practitioner), RN (registered nurse), NM/ANM (nurse manager/assistant nurse manager) or other licensed designee, functions as a member of the patient care team. Performs technical, patient care and related clerical functions in the Pediatric Associates care setting by coordinating all elements of the patient visit.Duties to include: * Provides nursing care under the supervision of a registered professional nurse. * Participates in the development of nursing care plans and in the implementation of therapeutic program for patients. * In less complex situations, may assume responsibility for directing and supervising assigned nursing personnel.
