We currently have 15 branches, 75,000+ customers and 500+ employees and expect to continue growing.We are seeking a Lawn Pest Control Technician who is ready to join our family and help continue our company growth!The ideal candidate will have excellent interpersonal skills, be well organized, detail oriented and self-motivated. Our technicians work independently throughout the day, while being supported by an incredible team of pest management professionals. If you enjoy being on the go, working outdoors, learning something new everyday, and interacting with a variety of customers, this position might be just what you have been searching for.Position responsibilities include providing lawn pest control services for our customers and setting reasonable expectations of results after services are performed. We provide all necessary training to get you started on your career as a pest management professional, as well as continuing education to keep you up to date on the latest and greatest in the pest world. Duties include: Complete the application of fertilizers, pesticides, herbicides and fungicides on a preset daily routeIdentify lawn and or pest problems and develop solutions to those problemsEstablish effective working relationships with a variety of customers, both internal and externalSafely drive a company vehicleUse of handheld computerized equipment to manage service calls and documentsProvide customers with general information about our various servicesConduct service calls as neededProblem solving and/or complaint resolution Requirements: Must enjoy working outdoorsMust enjoy hands on workAbility to safely drive a large, heavy lawn truckNo fear of bugs, snakes, rodents, etc.Able to withstand long periods of standing, walking, kneeling, stooping, squattingBe able to lift, push or pull up to 50 lbsHave excellent communication skillsBe competent with the use of new technologyBe organized and able to manage their own daily routeIf you are committed, dependable, and want to be part of a growing team of pest management professionals, we'd like to meet with you.
