Description:
Position Overview: As an Accountant, you will be responsible for supporting various aspects of our accounting operations, including financial reporting, reconciliations, and analysis. You will work closely with the finance team to ensure accurate and timely processing of financial transactions and compliance with accounting standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in accounting principles, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities: Assist with the preparation of financial statements, budgets, and forecasts in accordance with GAAP and company policies. Perform general ledger entries and reconciliations to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data. Assist with month-end and year-end close processes, including journal entries, accruals, and variance analysis. Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions, including vendor payments, customer invoices, and collections. Assist with payroll processing and tax filings, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. Conduct financial analysis and reporting to support management decision-making and strategic planning initiatives. Assist with internal and external audits by providing documentation, explanations, and assistance as needed. Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiencies in accounting procedures. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA designation or CPA eligibility preferred. Minimum of 1-3 years of experience in accounting roles, preferably in a corporate environment. Solid understanding of accounting principles and practices, with experience in financial reporting, analysis, and reconciliations. Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle) and Microsoft Excel; experience with ERP systems is a plus. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail. Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
