Project Overview Bechtel is the Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) partner on the Northrop Grumman team to deliver the Sentinel Program, which is modernizing the ground:based leg of the U.S. nuclear deterrent triad, including intercontinental ballistic missile (ICBM) systems and launch infrastructure. Bechtel's scope of service in Sentinel's current Engineering and Manufacturing Development phase focuses on the ground infrastructure component of the program. A major contractor for the United States and allied governments, Bechtel has handled such efforts as chemical weapons demilitarization projects, missile:defense, infrastructure, base operations, procurement and project management, and restoration and recovery spanning half a century. For more information on the Sentinel program: bechtel/projects/sentinel/ northropgrumman/space/sentinel We invite you to join our team for this very interesting opportunity Position Summary This position is for a Senior Electrical Engineer who will prepare designs for electrical systems associated with DOD and USAF projects.The successful candidate must have strong organizational and teamwork skills, proven problem:solving abilities, can:do attitude, and the desire to innovate designs. This role will specifically support the USAF Ground Based Strategic Deterrent (GBSD) program Engineering and Manufacturing Development (EMD) phase. Responsibilities This role will support design development of electrical systems and equipment for the GBSD project by preparing studies, drawings, calculations, specifications, and evaluations, in accordance with applicable procedures, codes, standards, and contract requirements.Work with electrical engineers and other technical disciplines in a team environment. : Develop design drawings.: Perform power system analysis modeling and calculations.: Perform equipment and cable sizing calculations.: Develop equipment and material specifications.: Develop procurement documentation.: Develop design configuration packages for configuration control and change management.: Design Building Information Modeling and coordination with other disciplines.: Review vendor submittals and integrate information into the design solution.: Execute to schedule requirements while maintaining a high degree of quality in work product.: Coordinate closely with other technical disciplines in planning and executing work as an integrated team.: Coordinate with customer and end user technical teams to mature design concepts and develop design solutions.: Provide technical suppor
