Description:
This position is responsible for contacting me dical facilities such as hospitals, clinics, and pharmacies. This individual will call on behalf of insurance providers and must conduct themselves in a professional manner. The goal of canvassing is to obtain information relevant to an open insurance claim/investigation. This individual will also be responsible for obtaining records from various medical facilities in an effort to document a claimant's full medical history. A typical day for this position m akes phone calls on behalf of insurance providers to medical facilities to ascertain dates of service, request medical records from facilities and documents information gathered in our client database into a detailed report. The person most qualified will be w ell o rganized, has excellent time management skills and great interpersonal skills. The position requires MicroSoft product knowledge such as Word and Outlook. Previous call center or medical (insurance) related experience preferred.
