In one sentence **Please note, this role can be based in New Jersey NJ, Dallas, TX, or Philadelphia, PA ** As Legal Counsel in the Legal Department's Global Business Group, you will be a partner and trusted advisor to Amdocs' business group, drafting and negotiating a variety of technology licensing, SaaS, professional services, managed services and other commercial agreements, as well as providing legal consultancy and participating in business decision making processes and promoting legal, regulatory, and Amdocs policy compliance, all in collaboration with other Amdocs units, including finance and tax, and external customers and vendors What will your job look like?- You will be responsible for drafting, negotiating and managing legal aspects of all forms of commercial agreements, including supporting pre:sales activities, in North America, and providing ongoing post:closing legal support to internal business clients.- You will interface with a highly collaborative and interactive legal / business team.- You will interact with business clients, management and outside customers in regard to drafting and negotiating the relevant and appropriate complex commercial agreements and transactions.- You will provide legal analyses and risk assessments and participate in business decision making processes, providing practical and issue focused legal advice and recommendations in view of business needs and applicable legal and company policy requirements and standards.- You will lead the legal aspects of commercial negotiations with internal and external customers and vendors in a variety of settings.- You will work on cross:department and cross:company legal projects. All you need is...:Law degree from a recognized law school with solid record of academic achievement:Admission to the Bar in good standing in at least one US jurisdiction:Relevant experience with commercial and transactional legal experience (either in:house at a global hi:tech company or in an international law firm environment) with strong background in IT licensing, professional services and other services agreements.:Experience in governmental or state contracts (an advantage).:Experience in SaaS engagements.:Experience in business risks analysis and handling business needs in a complex and ever:changing environment.:Outstanding negotiation skills:Strong customer facing orientation:Ability to conclude agreements of strategic importance with others inside and outside the organization that have widely differing perspectives and objectives:Strong interpersonal skills:Analytical thinking ability and strong attention to detail:Ability to effectively work remotely in an environment where partners and counterparties are often not in the same location Why you will love this job:You will work for a dynamic international company and have responsibility to negotiate technology and services agreements with leading communications providers, while interacting with a variety of internal and external customers and providing them business sensitive legal advice.
